Hello, I can not find the darn coolant site glass on a Burgman 400 (2013). Any one have an idea where to look? Thanks for the help.

I know that this may sound crazy......BUT....did you look in the owner's manual.???? I am sure that there must be a pic of that sight glass.

It's on the coolant overflow tank just behind the fuel filler
it's the vertical strip of different plastic, and no I cant tell
the level by using it too, never have been able too.

open the door where u fill ur 400 with gas, its there!

I can't see the fluid through the "window", so I'll stick my finger through the opening to check.

No me nether, it was like that when new and as not changed good thing is
it as never needed a drop of coolant in 3 years and 15000 miles.

I do the finger coolant check as well. I have to replace the plug now as some little devil mouse nibbled on it over the winter.

u can also stick a long q-tip in there
to see the color change more accurately.

how did mouse get in if little door was closed?

I wondered that as well. So I felt all around the compartment and there is an open area where he/she can get in. Makes quite a nice little cubby hole. Now there are mouse deterrents in the compartment.

Thank you for all the replies. Even the smart a$$ one. Yes I looked in the OM and did not see where it was. This is a friends bike and now that I know where it is I can let here know. Again thanks for the replies you guys are awesome.
