Hey guys,
New user here and I have a question about a new 2012 Burgman 400. Some dealers are closing them out and I found one for an out the door price of $5999. This does not include sales tax. Is this a good deal? I want to find one for my wife, who currently rides a Honda PCX150, but would like something bigger for road trips. I would take a used one, but $6000 seems like a good deal for a leftover 2012.

Not too much of an 'out the door' price without tax, lol, but anyway, I don't know where you live, but I'm from Wi and bought mine new last year for $6700.00, so I'd 'guess' it's not too far off.

Yeah, In Nebraska we pay plates and sales tax at the DMV. We're weird that way.

We get 30 days to ride before we pay plates and tax. The dealer issues an intransit tag. Up until recently I thought all states did it this way. I think there are only a few.

Guess we're lucky, as we have no sales tax. The dealer merely issues a "20 day" paper plate to get you going.
