Here's a chart form the Service Manual that shows that there was different ratios for the US/Califronia/Canada and the rest of the world as listed in the 2007 Service Manual. K7 means 2007.Elliott Larron said:

In 2009 they updated the model designations in the Service Manaul with AN400 / AN400A (antilock brakes) / and AN400ZA (UK and the EU). There's no updates for any changes to the compression ratios as originally listed for 2007 in the Service Manual.
Now the odd thing is that on Suzuki's website they have listed the compression ratio of the AN400A for the US as 12.5:1 for the last three years but, as mentioned above, no changes in the Service Manual.
