Hello, I live in the Smoky mountains of NC and I just signed on after I purchased a nice 2008 Burgman executive from a friend that bought it new in 08, it is still under warranty and has many farkles.

I am looking to learn about heated gear, and other things to make long(er) distance travels possible.

We have had nothing but rain her this summer, and I have been riding between showers.

K

thanks.

Greetings from central Florida and welcome. Many of my acquaintances from here have second homes in your area and have been reporting your wet summer. Here we are riding early or bearing the heat. Temps above 90 degrees every day. I rode up to your area a few years ago and absolutely loved it!

Welcome from Colorful Colorado!
I rode the past winter on a 400, and what made mine bearable was a larger windshield that gave me hand coverage, and lots of layers. I don't have heated grips. I met someone with a battery operated heated jacket, that seemed very nice. Brand was Milwaukee Tools.
