I am currently running with stock rollers in my CVT and thinking of changing to sliders.
Is there a change in gas mileage by using sliders and do they wear quicker than rollers.

I found better performance & gas mileage with 18g sliders then went to 19g sliders and found that to be the sweet spot, for me anyway. DPS's are definitely the best bang for the buck you can get IMO.

I changed my rollers out for 18g sliders and sure made a big change from starting from a stop to get going, seemed to have a lot more take off power than my oem rollers and do a lot of 2 up with the wife on the back of the burgman. I have not checked the gas mileage since I changed to the 18g sliders.

i also had the 18 gram sliders and after a year they started flipping, so i got the 19 gram sliders, that too is the sweet spot for me, and they dont flip anymore. normal wear and tare and dust build up causes them to flip.
