Has anyone found a clever way to power a GPS (mounted on the handlebars) from the accessory port in the front glove box WITHOUT taking off half the plastic or dicking up the dash plastic? If you have done this I'd appreciate the info.

Thanks
Bill

I ran a power wire from the tailight light, up to the glove box for switched power, and a ring terminal (face in) on the bolt on the top center of the glove box for my ground. That way I had switched power instead of always hot, from the battery.

I use a 12V pigtail with a USB adapter

Open the glove box and take the battery cover panel off. You will see where the wires from the battery exit out of the back of the battery box (not sealed) Run the USB cable through there and straight up the front collar with the rest of the wires in there. You can reach under the front forks and the wire will easily fit through the hole for the fork collar and end up on top of the glove box cover and below the handlebars.
