Cherie-
It's hard to answer that question since the main parts stores are all so similar and oftentimes carry the same items. Lots of times, with a well equipped parts store it's a question of convenience more than anything. For example, I have an Advance Auto, an Autozone, an O'Reilly, and a NAPA in my small town of 10K people and I buy most of my parts online anyway to avoid sales tax. I also have an Orschelns, a Dickey Bubbs, a Walmart, and a Tractor Supply store within a 15 minute ride and they are all good for various things. The local Ace Hardware has a whole aisle of various connectors and screws and if you can't find some oddball item there it probably isn't made...and you can buy only 1 of them if that's all you need. We even have a Lowes for another selection of single peice nuts and bolts.
If you have US/Canada toll free calling on your phone service I would do what most of us do anyway: call ahead and let your fingers do your traveling before you leave home.
Have a safe ride and keep posting....I enjoy reading your contributions.
