I'm looking at two different used 650's. One is a white 07 with just over 7k miles new tires at a Suzuki dealer that's asking $4,500. Other is a Gold 08 with just over 24k new ft. tire good rear, private person asking $4,700.
Dealer one i believe has been there awhile as the tags on it are Feb 12. My guess it was a trade that they might of given $3,000 for. Private one has tags good until 6/13.
So what do you think?

Since both are standards; I personally would go for the '07 with the lower miles, but that assumes all else being equal in condition. At 7K it is barely broken in and if it was only ridden 7K in presumably 5+ years, the owner probably didn't ride it very hard. on the other hand the '08 has 24K in maybe 4 years. About the same as mine, which is a daily "driver". That owner has put some respectable miles on it and more likely has ridden it harder. I know I wouldn't buy my bike used if I knew it's history (and I do) :lol: That being said both prices sound too high. For an Exec maybe but for not for a STD.

Those are the asking prices not what I would be willing to pay. :wink: Only Exec I've found in So. Cal are 09 & asking price on those are another 2 grand. :shock: Not looking for a Exec any way so not a big deal. I'm thinking more like $3,800 for the one at the dealer. It doesn't have a butt stop but I know where to get a nice back rest on this site for $65.00. Bearcat are you around :wink:

Just found a 07 Exec with 16k, tags good unit 4/14 private party for $4,500. Now if I only had mine sold. :roll:

So between the 2 07's offer $3,500 on the white one & $4,000 on the Red Exec. ?

Red 07 is sold.......... knew it was a good deal I just missed out Well found a 08 Exec. with 2,850 miles for $4,800 so maybe will work one it. Mine still has to sell first. I have someone interested so I'll see. :wink:

I would buy the 07 with 4k miles for $4,000.00 or less.

That 08 Exec sounds like a great deal. Whats the difference between an 08 exec and standard in MSRP?
I bought my 08 exec last year with just under 4k miles on the odometer for $5000 out the door and felt like I got a pretty good deal from a consignment at a Yamaha dealer. It had a $5,995 price tag so the consignee did come down a lot. The dealer got their 15% cut - or so I was told.

08 is sold another good deal missed, but until mine sells I'll still keep my eyes open. The 07 non-exc at the dealer is still there. As the plates have 2012 tags I think they have had it over a year. :roll: 7200 miles & I like White. :thumbup: Most all 650's I've found are black, not a good color for the desert or easy to be seen. :wink:
