Finally, when I was all finished I found I had an intermittent chassis ground. Some time the driving lights and the horn would work, sometime not. I used chassis ground for both of them. The running lights worked A-OK as they were hard wired to ground through the original wiring.
So after talking to the dealer, I found this is kinda common on motorcycles. So I ran a wire from the battery ground to a bolt that holds the helmet lock spring in place, (yellow terminal), the closest grounding point I could find. I also sanded all the attachment points at that bolt. Perfect.
