1st Annual Ride for Safety

Yesterday in Victoria, BC, to remember a rider killed in a head-on by a driver who crossed the centre line on a notorious stretch of Vancouver Island highway known as the Malahat. We are calling on the government to install concrete centre barriers along this part of the road. The pics show the approximately 400 bikes (only one maxi scooter that I saw) that showed up to ride through town and to the provincial legislature.
