Looking for an example of a crated Burgman 650
This is one method of tying down/trailering the 400 and the 650 that has worked exceptionally well. However, your results may vary so exercise caution and trailer your scooter at your own risk. This method places no load/stress on the handle bars or throttle plastic. Some prefer the cam buckle straps (no chance of over-tightening) vs the ratchet type strap. Check straps, scooter and trailer frequently, you can't be too careful when trailering.
Soft ties around the fork tubes (careful of hoses, cables, wires, etc.)
Soft ties around the rear grab rails
Tie down straps pull down and slightly forward to keep the scoot(s) snug in the front wheel chock and to the trailer floor
