Guidelines for Formatting

Under construction...

All information on how to format is documented here: Wiki-Syntax Text (external link)

Specifics on how to format the BKB are below.
  • In general, following the formatting of previous content is a good way to keep things consistent throughout.

  • Keep formatting to a minimum. Since this site will rely on dozens of contributors with varying degrees of computer skills, keeping it simple will go a long way.

  • Organization and readability should be paramount, and formatting can certainly help accomplish that.

  • The TikiWiki software using common keyboard characters to code the pages. Some characters to avoid, unless necessary, are slashes, quotes and plus signs.

  • For the Topic Index, all category descriptions should use the "H3" heading.
Example:

Use of the Power Mode

  • Any subcategories within a topic should use the H1 heading.
Example:

Gear Modes

Manual Shifting

Use of the Power Mode

  • Due to having the same topics for multiple models (i.e. CVT for both 400s and 650), each article or topic category must have the appropriate model as a prefix.
    • Examples:
    • 400 CVT
    • 400 (07+) CVT
    • 650 CVT
