650 Year Differences
This is a list of known changes between years for the U.S. models only. This is not a comprehensive list, but most details of the changes are provided in the Suzuki factory Service Manual.2002

- CVT motor changed (unknown specifications)

- 1st and 2nd Piston Ring End Gap Decreased from 0.20 - 0.30mm (0.008 - 0.012in) to 0.06 - 0.018mm (0.002 - 0.005in)
- Coolant capacity increased from 1.3L (1.4qt) to 1.6L (1.7qt)
- Dry Mass Decreased from 238 kg (524 lbs) to 235 kg (518 lbs)

The 2011 models have the same changes listed in the 2010 models above.
In addition, Suzuki is not listing any standard 650s on their website. This indicates that Suzuki is following what it has done in the rest of the world: only selling Executive models.
